Secret of the Universe

ยท Philosophy

In school we're taught that humans come from evolution, that 99% of our DNA is that of a chimpanzee. We're taught that the world is primarily materialistic, that the world is what we can see, observe, and measure. That's it.

This is the great lie, the great deception. We know it's a lie because everything taught in school, everything learned in university, in graduate school, in science, in life, doesn't answer a fundamental question.

What is consciousness?

Why do we see the world the way we do? How do we think? How do we have ideas? How do we communicate? We're not allowed to ask this question, and therefore, we're not allowed to ask what it means to be human.

There are two aspects of being human. There's the material aspect, we have a body, but we also have a soul that connects us to the spiritual, to the divine. There's a spark inside of us that comes from God. This spark is what allows us to love and to imagine. Being human means engaging in two fundamental acts, the act of love, which allows us to unify with God, and the act of imagination, which allows us to expand our consciousness and become divine.

Love is the unifying force of the universe. Imagination is the animating force. This is the great secret of the universe. The universe is not material. It is conscious.

How We Perceive Reality

Immanuel Kant tried to figure out what reality is, how we perceive it. He proposed that the world is divided into reality itself, called the noumena, the things in themselves, the objective reality, and then there's the phenomena, what appears to us. We perceive the noumena and translate it into phenomena. We filter the noumena through time and space. Our brains are constructed in a way that allows us to perceive the spiritual and turn it into material.

Julian Jaynes, an American psychologist, gave this idea a physical basis. Our brains have both a right hemisphere and a left hemisphere. The right hemisphere connects to the noumena, the things in themselves that we can never fully know. The left translates it into phenomena. The right hemisphere receives information from the spiritual, and the left brain, through our eyes and senses, translates it into the material world we experience.

Nature of Consciousness

What is the noumena? This is a question mystics and monks have struggled with throughout human history. We can never fully describe it because it is beyond space and time, beyond our capacity to articulate, but metaphorically, the noumena is consciousness. Consciousness comes from energy, from vibrations.

The entire universe is vibrations carrying information, and information becomes consciousness.

Metaphorically, there's a source called the monad, the one, the center of the universe, God. The monad works through breathing, through emanation, creating vibrations throughout the universe. The monad breathes in and breathes out, and this is the basis of the universe, these vibrational fields.

Through this process, other entities are created as well, the diads, and as the universe keeps vibrating, the frequencies become slower. High frequencies become low, and as they slow down, physicality develops. This creates the material universe.

The material is always connected to the spiritual, and the entire universe is interconnected. It's both everything and nothing at the same time.

Eventually our world is created, and our world is materialistic. We have bodies, and our bodies are part of this material world, but our consciousness comes from the divine. Our bodies are created through evolution, but our consciousness is created through the vibrations of the universe. Our consciousness is connected with the universe itself.

Think of people standing together, each consciousness expanding infinitely into the universe. At one level, each person is alone, consciousness unique to them, but at a higher level, they connect with someone else, and then another, on and on until connecting with everything. Within each consciousness is a capacity to connect with the entire universe, but it's really far away.

Plato's Cave

Different philosophers throughout history have tried to figure out how to articulate this truth, this great secret. The best metaphor we have is Plato's allegory of the cave. It helps us understand who we are, where we came from, and where we're going.

Imagine prisoners chained to the ground, their necks chained, their arms chained, unable to move their heads or get up, watching a wall. Behind them is a great fire, and behind the fire are people putting up figures, projecting shadows onto the wall. Because the prisoners can't see the entirety of reality, they believe the wall itself is reality.

Movies are an example. We watch them and think they're reality.

Why make this effort to fool us? To enslave us.

You might think slavery means someone holding a gun saying they'll kill you if you don't obey, but that's not what slavery is. If the universe is conscious, our energy comes from our attention. Attention is energy. What they want is our energy. If they're able to focus our energy, capture our imagination, they can construct reality the way they want it. Reality is what we imagine it to be. The imagination is the animating force of the universe. If they can focus our attention for us, they can create their own reality.

Now we understand why we watch movies, why we have the internet, why schools want us to embrace artificial intelligence. It's all to enslave us. All of human history is about enslavement.

That's what progress is. We think, oh my god, I can now watch movies, I have social media, I can communicate with anyone, I have ChatGPT and it can tell me the truth about the world. No. All these things are created to enslave the mind, because we have access to God. What they're trying to do is trick us into believing that this reality is the true reality. Once we believe that, this reality becomes the only reality.

Who are these people? We don't know. You can say they're the elite, the powers that be. You can say they're demons. But they're interested in fooling us into believing that the movies we see are real, that the internet is real, that social media is real.

If this is slavery, what is freedom? Freedom is to escape this system and to think for yourself, to see for yourself, to be yourself. Plato says one prisoner, for whatever reason, has his chains break loose. He stumbles out of the cave into the wilderness. He sees the sun, which is God. At first he's blinded by the light. He hates it but struggles, teaching his eyes to see.

Then he recognizes that this world is beautiful. It's infinite, diverse, alive. The world he thought was real is just a corpse, a dead zombie world. This is what life is. Freedom means finally awakening from this terrible nightmare. Seeing everything around us, movies, AI, school, as prison, as hell, and then looking inside ourselves and connecting back to God, to the spiritual, to look beyond the phenomena and return to the noumena, to vibrations, to energy.

Path to Escape

Every religious tradition, whether Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, Christianity, Judaism, proposes the same solution, meditation.

If the world is vibration, if it flows, there must be a logic to this flow, a structure to this movement. The Egyptians proposed that what governs this flow is sacred geometry. They spent thousands of years figuring out that vibrational energy flows in certain geometric patterns. These patterns are the basis for the universe itself.

If we understand sacred geometry, we can construct our consciousness in a way that allows us to match the vibrational flow of the universe, to harmonize with it. How do you do that? Through breathing. By breathing, you structure your consciousness in a way that becomes part of the universe itself.

This will take decades, but we can do this. When we harmonize with the vibrational flow of the universe, reality itself reveals itself to us. We can see this world as false, connect to the true spiritual universe. This is true consciousness, what all monks in the world are trying to do. Leave your body and embrace the spiritual. When you do that, you connect with the divine and discover the secrets of the universe. You're able to see both the phenomena and the noumena.

This is the great secret of all religions.

The Hacks

Meditation is what you're supposed to do, but a lot of people think, this takes decades of isolation, decades of meditation trying to figure out how to connect to the universe. Possibly a hundred years. There must be an easier way.

They exist, though they're not great.

Psychedelics. Magic mushrooms, ayahuasca, peyote. They alter your consciousness in a way that disrupts your left hemisphere and allows you to focus on your right hemisphere, which allows you to see the noumena. When you see the noumena, you realize it's just energy, colors, vibrations. If you look at artwork from people who've used psychedelics, it's very colorful and very strong. It's all vibrational.

Self-denial. Starving yourself, fasting. Going out naked in the cold. When you collapse your body and approach death, your consciousness shifts into the spiritual. Death is release, because this world we live in, our bodies, are the prison. Don't fear death. It's just part of the natural cycle.

Near-death experiences. People who don't want to die but are in a car accident or have drowned, and they died for five minutes. They all come back and say the same thing. When they die, they escape into the spiritual realm and meet God. These are people who don't know each other, but they describe the same experience. The world they go into is Plato's world. It's like escaping the cave and going to the world of light. A world of compassion, love, forgiveness. It is as though you're connected again with the divine.

Mechanism of Immortality

There's another way, the idea of the Christ consciousness, the way Jesus found to connect fully with the divine.

We're not just passive observers of reality. We're active participants. As we receive vibrations, we ourselves are vibrating through our imagination. As we receive information which creates memories, we implant our memories into this consciousness, which changes the universe.

Think of the internet. You have a computer, a laptop. It connects to the internet, receiving information, but then you change this information, and it goes back into the internet. Through the creation of memories, you participate in the universe.

Or think of an ocean. Pebbles drop into the ocean, creating vibrations. We are that pebble. Our role in the world is to create as much of a splash as possible. To vibrate. The Greeks called this eudaimonia, the purpose of life is to be our creative best. To flourish, blossom, imagine, vibrate as much as possible.

If we all at the same time imagine something to be true, it becomes true. Who's the most famous person in the world? Jesus. Jesus is immortal, eternal, because two billion people love him, imagine him, believe he's part of their lives. Because of their imagination, Jesus is still with us today, but at a high vibration.

How do you resurrect Jesus? By making your body a vessel for him to return in. Your body can become a portal for Jesus to inhabit, to possess, if you welcome Jesus through certain spiritual practices. Through love, generosity, and forgiveness.

If someone killed your child, you may hate that person. You might hate them forever, but if you're able to forgive that person, truly forgive them of your own free choice, you open yourself up to divinity. This divinity can now flow into you. This is the Christ consciousness, the second coming of Jesus.

If you're a Christian and believe in the second coming, that Jesus will return, Christian mystics believe he can always return if you open your heart to Jesus, but you have to construct your body, your mind, your consciousness in a way that allows Jesus to inhabit you.

Secret of the Great Books

The universe exists in our consciousness. Consciousness is what's real. The material is what's false. As we imagine, we participate in the universe and change it. When we focus on a certain reality, that reality becomes manifest.

By living in the memories of others, we become immortal like Jesus. By constructing our lives in a way that allows for the divine to return, we can resurrect it in ourselves. This is the secret of the universe. Most of us will fail, but our consciousness is forever. Reincarnation means that when we die, we escape back to the spiritual, and maybe a thousand years later we come back. It's a constant cycle where we're trying to achieve these three things, immortality, reincarnation, godhood, and the secret is love powering our imagination.

This is what religions have passed on through thousands of years of human history, which schools, science, government, all the powers that be try to suppress because it is a direct threat to this reality. This reality is false, but they want to make it real because they derive power from it.

Everything taught in school, everything learned in science class, is complete and utter nonsense. This is what's true.

If you truly want to achieve immortality, reincarnation, godhood, the secrets lie in the great books, Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, Plato's Republic, Dante's Divine Comedy, Kant's Critique of Pure Reason. These aren't just literature, they're constructed in a way that allows you to access the secrets of the universe. They capture the universe in a state. There's a universe within them. By embracing them, by letting them come into you and entering them, you have the capacity to travel in a new universe, and you have the capacity to create your own universe.

The great books are the secret of what it means to be human. They provide the secret of how to be truly, fully human.

This isn't meant to be a quick transformation. It's a path. It's up to you to focus and sacrifice yourself on this path into enlightenment.

Everyone knows swimming is the best exercise in the world, but saying go swim doesn't mean you learn to swim in one day. It takes decades to learn how to swim really well. We all know meditation is good for you, but it takes decades to fully learn how to meditate well. This is a journey that is lifelong, a journey that requires sacrifice.

You must abandon this material reality that is false. Abandon money, power, sex, fame, and focus on embracing the great books. When you do that, the universe comes into you.

While Christians use love and forgiveness to become a vessel for Jesus, we can use the exact same hack to resurrect the greatest minds of human civilization. The goal is to welcome Homer, Plato, Dante, and Kant into our consciousness so we can become fully human.

You now have the power, the secret, to resurrect Homer and Dante inside of you, but first, it's your choice. Second, you must abandon the world to do this. Third, you must dedicate your entire life to it.

The Price of Truth

The prisoners in the cave could probably break their chains if they tried. What do you think happens when the prisoner who has seen the real world comes back and tells everyone, I've seen the real world, let's get out of here? They kill him. That's what Plato says. If you dare speak the truth and people know the truth, they will kill you for speaking the truth.

Don't try to convince anyone of the truth. Just know the truth for yourself and be free yourself. You can never convince someone who doesn't want to listen; you'll just get killed.

What keeps us in chains is the illusion of success. We fall into the trap of thinking, I need to get into a good college, make a lot of money, and live a happy life. We've been tricked into believing we need money to be happy, or that we need success to be worthy. The truth is, you don't need anything to be happy. You have yourself, your imagination, and the capacity to love. If you just love your family and everyone around you, you'll be happy.

It's incredibly simple to be free. Just say to yourself, I'm a slave and I refuse to be a slave. I refuse to listen to what everyone tells me. Yet saying that is the hardest thing in the world, because it means total rejection from this reality. It means facing the terrifying thought of having no friends, of thinking, my parents hate me, I'm a loser, everyone makes fun of me at school.

That's the fear that binds us. We fear social isolation and being laughed at, so we just go with the flow even though we know in our hearts it's all a lie. What the schools teach us is nonsense. ChatGPT is lying to us all the time. We know spending our lives seeking money will only make us unhappy, so why do we do it? Not for ourselves, but because we fear social condemnation. That fear is why you obsess over money, and that's why you force yourself to do well in school.

It's always been your choice, but it's easier to think, it's not my choice, I've been coerced. It's not my choice to come to school. It's not my choice to get a job because if I don't, I'm going to starve.

No, you won't, and remember, in the real world, death doesn't really mean anything. Death is just release. You've tricked yourself into thinking that death is the worst thing that could happen to you, when in reality, it's slavery that's the worst thing that can happen to you.

You fear death, but you're living death right now.

The Necessity of Suffering

This raises a hard question. If walking the path of truth guarantees so much isolation, sacrifice, and rejection, why did the universe design it this way? Why do we feel pain? Why do we have physical bodies?

The universe is constructed to promote imagination. The universe is trying to vibrate more, to imagine more. If you can't feel pain, if you can't suffer, if you can't lose, if there's no evil, you can't imagine things. If everything was easy, nothing would have meaning.

If you want a good body and you go to the gym and just lie around for ten hours and get an amazing physique, that would be beneficial to no one. If you want meaning, you have to struggle for it, and that requires pain and suffering.

Why are we in this world of pain, of suffering? To improve our imagination. Only through pain and suffering can you truly achieve your full potential as a human. That's why monks meditate for decades in the snow. They understand that pain is what allows you to focus your mind.

Without evil, there can be no good. If everyone's good, what's the point of being good? It's only when everyone is evil and you choose to be good that your life has meaning. That's what gives meaning to the universe.
